Alpha McClure Obituary

 Alpha Omega Brasher McClure, passed away, Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the age of 88.

 

Beloved wife of sixty-three years to William Edward McClure; mother of Bartley and Stuart McClure; grandmother of six; great-grandmother of two; dear aunt, cousin, and friend.

 

Omega was born in Decaturville, TN, the eleventh of twelve children. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from the University of Tennessee and a second Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from a St. Louis area college. Upon earning her degrees, Omega founded and operated two early childhood development centers in Creve Coeur and Ellisville, MO. Omega was a very devout and active member of Salem United Methodist Church who graciously volunteered her time serving others in the communities in which she lived.  

 

Local Services:  Visitation will be Friday, June 25, 2021 from 5 PM - 8 PM at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville with funeral service at 11 AM Saturday, June 26, 2021. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
