Anita (Sparks) Kennedy

Anita Sparks Kennedy, 73, of Decaturville, TN, passed away Monday, August 30th, at Jackson-Madison Co. General Hospital.

She was born February 21, 1948 to the late Ruil & Gladys Sparks.

She retired from Decaturville Sportwear then worked as a cafeteria assistant for Decatur County Board of Education. She worked along side her late husband who was a Pentecostal Minister for 45+ years.

Anita is  survived by a daughter, Michelle (Randle) Browder, of Decaturville; a son, Kenneth (Tricia) Kennedy, of Decaturville. 
 
She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren - Hannah & Caleb Browder & Cameron and Garrett Kennedy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bro. Dale Kennedy, her parents, Ruil and Gladys Sparks and a sister, Patsy Sparks Montgomery. 

Her Funeral Service will be held at The River UPC, Parsons, TN, at 4 PM on Thursday, September 2nd,  with Bro. Ron Wofford officiating. Burial will follow in Concord Cemetery near Decaturville.

Visitation is Wednesday 3 PM - 10 PM  at The River UPC - Parsons, RN and Thursday 11 AM until service  at The River UPC - Parsons, TN. 

Due to the surge in COVID-19 cases, face masks are optional but are encouraged.
