Cole Clark Obituary

Cole Christopher Clark, 20, of Decaturville, TN, passed away Saturday, March 19th, at Henderson Co. Community Hospital, following a motor vehicle accident.

Cole is was a 2020 Riverside High School graduate, a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, he worked part-time at Fastenal and was attending Jackson State Community College.

The first thing that most people noticed about Cole was his charming smile. He had the kind of smile that would light up a room, and his goofy personality caused everyone around him to smile also. Cole was a kind, loving, good hearted young man who loved life. He loved his family and friends with his whole heart. He loved baseball, working hard, Eric Church music, and eating weird foods. Cole took time to really enjoy life, especially since he moved in such slow motion – just like his great-granddaddy Vernon. Cole will always be remembered as a very special son, grandson, nephew, cousin, boyfriend, and friend to “tha” gang. He will be missed terribly, but soon we will be reunited with him in heaven. “And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man take it from you.” John 16:22

Cole was a part of a very special group of friends referred to as "Tha Gang". This group included Jackson Holbert, Cole Reddix, Mattie Pulley, Jenna Wadley and Mason Chandler, as well as Cole Clark himself.

He is survived by his parents, Chris Clark (Trina Malone), of Decaturville and Deanna Clark (Ken Long), of Decaturville; Grandparents, Danny & Betty Adkisson, of Decaturville; Harold & Joyce Maners, of Decaturville; Great Grandmother - Margie Pitts, of Decaturville; an aunt, Crystal Wadley (Tommy Tinin) of Decaturville; 2 uncles, Josh (Melissa) Maners, of Medina and Michael (Amy) Maners, of Chessapeak, NC;  a very special friend, Sky Koelsch, of Darden; first cousins, Jace Adkisson, Jenna & Judd Wadley, Noah, Ella and David Maners as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a Grandfather, Johnny Clark, and Great Grandparents - Haywood & Lorene Brasher, James & Violet Clark, J C Pitts and Vernon & Vallie Adkisson.

His Funeral Service will be held at Bath Springs Baptist Church, at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 23rd,  with Bro. Tracy McCormick and Bro. Brad Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath Springs.

Visitation will be Tuesday 11 AM - 9 PM at Reed's Chapel in Decaturville and Wednesday 9 AM until service at Bath Springs Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the Cole Clark Scholarship at Decatur County Bank.
