Dorothy Nelle (Rhodes) Ward

Dorothy Nelle Ward, 87, of Lexington, TN, passed away Sunday, December 19th, at Life Care in Bruceton. 

She had attended West TN Business College, was a member of Lexington First Baptist Church, a retired Secretary at Lexington High School and had worked as Secretary at WDXL radio station in Lexington.

Mrs. Ward  is survived by a daughter, Rhonda (David) Finley, of Medina, TN; a son, Mark (Dianne) Ward, of Lexington, TN; a sister, Barbara (James) Weaver, of Medon, TN; a brother, Gleeman (Jane) Rhodes, of Luray, TN.
 
She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren - Dave (Lisa) Finley, Dewayne (Stephanie) Finley, Christina (Bryan) West and Jacqui Weatherly and by 13 Great Grandchildren.   

She was preceded in death by her husband, A. D. "Beanie" Ward, a granddaughter, Molly Joyner, a sister, Irene Rhodes, and her parents, John Alton and Bessie Irene Rhodes.

A Graveside Service will be held at Unity Cemetery, Luray, TN, at 1 PM on Wednesday, December 22nd,  with Steve Wilkinson officiating. Burial will follow.

Visitation will be Wednesday 9 AM - 1 PM at Unity Baptist Church - Luray, TN.
