Eileen Colwick Obituary

Mrs. Eileen Burton Colwick, age 94, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Traceway Retirement Community in Tupelo, MS. Mrs. Colwick was the daughter of the late C. A. Burton, Sr and Sewell Belisles Burton. She had previously lived in Decatur County.

She is survived by a daughter, Janet (Jeff) Laster, of Baldwyn, MS, by her grandchildren, Jake (Liz) Yoes, Joe Yoes and Jill (Chris) Merriman and by 5 great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. T. Colwick, a daughter, Sherry Yoes, a grandson, Jonathan Laster, her brother, C. A. Burton, Jr., 2 sisters, Noma Lou Coble and Jean Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
