Hilda Jane (White) Vise

Hilda Jane Vise, 78, of Decaturville passed away Oct. 24th 2021 at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church. She had worked in earlier years at Fred's Pharmacy, Vise's Pharmacy and Dr. Reddy's Clinic. She loved gardening, cooking, painting and being on the river. She also enjoyed her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren by calling them her Love Bugs. She enjoyed raising her children by participating in their activities which included the local fair, band, football, baseball and softball games, 4-H, and FFA livestock shows, sheep, cattle and hog shows, . She served as President of TN Porkette and Beef Association.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, James Douglas Vise, of Decaturville, a son, Stacy (Tara) Vise of Decaturville, two daughters, Tracy (Gary) Pevahouse of Decaturville, Beronica "NuNu"
Vise of Decaturville, a brother, Bud (Julia) White of Decaturville, five sisters, Nancy (Collins) Pratt of Parsons, Wanda (Barney Jr.) Blasingim of Pickwick, Vicky Mayo of Decaturville, Sherry (Wayne) Boyd of Memphis, Geneta (Benny) Parrish of Decaturville, a brother in law, Ronnie (Pam) Vise of Parsons, two sisters in law, Lila White of Decaturville and Joy Harrington of Nashville. 

She is also survived by four Grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason) Evans, Shawn (Jodi) Pevahouse,Alec ( Mary Beth) Vise and Landry Vise, and by four Great Granddaughters, Madison, Bella, and Eva Grace Evans and Raelyn Pevahouse.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Pauline White and a brother, Terry White.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday October 26, 2021 at 2 PM at Reed's Chapel in Decaturville with burial to follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at 12 PM until 8 PM and on Tuesday 10 AM until service.

Family request no food be brought to the funeral home. Face Mask are required for visitation and funeral service.
