Jean (Ivy) Parrish

Glenda Jean Parrish, 75, of Decaturville, TN, passed away Thursday, March 2nd, at her home. 

Jean was a loving, dedicated and supportive wife, mother and grandmother and a "Mama Jean" to many. Jean was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of Parsons Church of Christ.

Jean is survived by her husband of 56 years, Larry L. Parrish, of Decaturville; two daughters, Melinda (Alan) Broadway, of Decaturville; Melissa (Brian) Jones, of Parsons; 2 special sons, Jordan and Michael; 7 Grandchildren - Samantha (Patrick) Brasher, of Decaturville, Jessica (Jay) Brockman, of Decaturville, Jeremy (Caitlin) Jones, of Decaturville, Brittany (Josh) Tubbs, of Decaturville, Jeb (Hannah) Jones, of Gallatin, Katelyn (Brandon) McFall, of Parsons and Brady (Hope) Jones, of McEwen; 13 Great-Grandchildren - Owen, Graham, and Amos Brasher, Trey, Thomas and Lucy Brockman, Kennedy, Lawson and Emersyn Tubbs, Adalynn and Callie McFall, Annabeth and Stetson Jones and another due in August, Houston Jones;  2 sisters, Jane (Larry) Tyler, of Jackson and Joan (Denny) Broadway, of Decaturville; a brother, Glenn (Diane) Ivy, of Reagan; brother-in-law, Billy Floyd (Ruby) Parrish, of Parsons, sister-in-law, Carolyn Parrish, of Scotts Hill as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Van Ray and Marie Ivy and a brother, Michael W. Ivy.

Her Funeral Service will be held at Reed's Chapel, Decaturville, TN, at 11 AM Saturday, March 4, 2023 with Martin Klamm officiating. Burial will follow in Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday 3 PM - 8 PM and Saturday 9 AM until service.
