Mary Crawley Obituary

Mary Anne Crawley passed away on January 1, 2021 Henderson County Community Hospital.  Born to C.A. and Ruth Palmer on February 29,1932, she was 88 years old.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady F. Crawley, and parents C.A. and Ruth Palmer. She was a member of Decaturville First United Methodist Church, the Fidelis Sunday School Class, the United Methodist Women and Women's Bible Study Group.

She was affectionately known as Granny to her family as well as to their friends.  She is survived by daughters Karen (Terry) Broadway of Decaturville, Beth (Glen) Vanderford of Jackson, Amy (Ben) Armstrong of Germantown, son Joel (Rhonda) Crawley of Decaturville, a sister Doris (Hugh) Homan of Payette, Idaho.

She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren-Scott (Angie) Broadway, Kristie (Michael) Frost, Justin (Holly) Broadway, Ellen (Nathan) Byrd, Meridith (Shane) Raspberry, Sarah (Hudson) Harris, Anna (Wesley) Dutton, Kelli (Nathan) Rogers, Will Crawley, Josh Crawley, Brett Bell and Dakota Bell. Also 18 Great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.

She worked alongside her husband, Grady, for 30 years at Crawley's Auto Parts in Decaturville. Upon their retirement they traveled across the US and several trips abroad.  She enjoyed her many bridge groups, canasta friends and going to Senior Citizens Center where she could visit with friends and play cards.

The family wishes to give special thanks to her wonderful caregivers Tammy, Kem and Patti.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Carmel Cemetary with social distancing and mask required.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her memory to First United Methodist Church of Decaturville PO Box 156. Decaturville, TN  38329 and Mt. Carmel Cemetary Fund PO Box 91, Decaturville TN 38329.
