Max Hays Obituary
Max Ray Hays, 82, of Decaturville, TN, passed away Friday, October 21st, at AHC Decatur Co.
He was a retired tow boat engineer and a US Army veteran.
Max Ray was born May 27, 1940 in Scotts Hill to the late John and Flora (Campbell) Hays.
Mr. Hays is survived by a daughter, Sissy Hays, of Parsons; two sons, Mike (Donna) Hays, of Decaturville; Tom (Wendi) Hays, of Parsons; a sister, Johnnye Faye Ivey, of Scotts Hill; a brother, Jerry Hays, of Scotts Hill.
He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lynn Hays, a son, Tony Hays, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later time. He will be buried beside his wife in Concord Cemetery.
