Melba Sheryl (Lowery) Smith

Melba Sheryl Smith, 71, of Clifton, TN, passed away Thursday, August 4th, at her home. 

She was born July 11, 1951 in Michigan to the late William Husky Lowery and Susie Mae Edmonds Maness.

She was a registered nurse and had worked at CCA Prison in Clifton, the ER at Perry Memorial Hospital and had worked as a travel nurse going to several different locations.

Melba is  survived by a daughter, Tammy Sheryl Vise, of Decaturville, TN; a brother, Nathan Don Lowery, of Missouri. 
 
She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, Brianna and Haley Vise of Decaturville, Sheryl Jean Jones, of Nashville and Tracy Lane Jones, of Linden and a great granddaughter, Kotah Nevaeh Herndon of Decaturville. 

She was predeceased by 2 sons, Timothy Edward Jones and Jesse Matthew Jones, a brother, William Fredick Lowery, a sister Neva Jenice Thomas and her mother and father.

Her Funeral Service will be held  at Reed's Chapel, Decaturville, TN, at 4 PM on Tuesday, August 9th, with burial to follow in Crossroads Cemetery in Parsons.

Visitation is Tuesday 9 AM until service at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville.
