Ronald Dewayne Hill, 75, of Sugar Tree, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 19th, at the VA Hospital in Nashville. 

Ronald was born July 31, 1948 in Davidson County, TN to the late George and Nora Mai Hill.

He was a retired owner/operator of Cherokee Boat Dock & Marina, a US Army veteran, serving on active duty for 15 years and then 2 years in the National Guard and was a member of Parsons First Baptist Church. Ronald enjoyed boating (and being the Captain), fishing and traveling. He loved spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Ronald is  survived by his loving wife of 50+ years, Clara (Kern) Hill, of Sugar Tree, TN; two daughters, Kristie (Shane) Jackson, of Nolensville, TN; Angela (Michael) Freund, of Smyrna, TN; a son, Ronnie (Brandi) Hill, of Jackson, TN; a sister, Evalyn (Tommy) Ivey, of Ashland City, TN; three brothers, George Hill, of Nashville, TN; Frankie (Darlene) Hill, of Woodbury, TN; Jackie (Jennifer) Hill, of Pleasant View, TN.
 
He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren - April (Gary) Milstead, Murfreesboro, TN; Andrew (Sara) Freund, of Smyrna, TN; Ryan & Noah Jackson, of Nolensville, TN; Elizabeth & William "Liam" Hill, of Jackson, TN. 1 Great Grandchild - Mark Milstead.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Hill and a sister, Shirley Hicks.

His Funeral Service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church, Darden, TN, at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 27th,  with Bro. Don Franks officiating. Burial will follow in the Veterans Cemetery in Parkers Crossroads.

Visitation is Tuesday 4 PM - 8 PM and Wednesday 9 AM until service at Corinth Baptist Church 1350 Corinth Rd  Darden, TN 38328.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to the charity of the donors choice.

Reed's Chapel - Decaturville is in charge of arrangements.
