Wayne Cruse

Wayne Cruse, 80, of Decaturville, TN, passed away Saturday, June 5th, at his home surrounded by his family. 

Wayne was a retired department manager at LSI in Manchester, TN. He had worked several years for Decaturville Sportswear as a cutting room supervisor. He was a member of Perryville Baptist Church where he previously taught Sunday School. He was the founder of the Perryville Boxing Club. Wayne was an avid Riverside Sports fan and could be found at all the ball games and at any event his grandchildren were in. He loved playing golf until he became unable to play due to health issues.

Wayne is  survived by three daughters, Missy (Bob) Jones, Tabby (Terry) Harrington, and Jowayna Cruse Woods, all of Decaturville, TN; a sister, Judy (Tommy) Montgomery, of Perryville, TN; three brothers, Pete (Jean) Cruse, of Parsons, TN; R.M. (Mary) Cruse, of Philapelphia, PA, and Jack Cruse, of Perryville, TN.

He's also survived by his grandchildren - Jeremy Montgomery, Jennifer Blankenship, Colby Jones, Clayton Edgin, Lauren Oliver, Laken Frost, Colby Harrington, Cruse Woods and Casilyn Woods and by 19 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce A. Cruse, a daughter, Tina Montgomery, a brother, Leon Cruse and by 3 sisters, Lorene Parrish, Ann Brasher and Carolyn Byrd.

His Funeral Service will be held at Reed's Chapel, Decaturville, TN, at 2 PM Monday, June 7, 2021 with Bro. Rodney Hardin and Bro. Tracy McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Perryville Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday 2 PM - 9 PM and Monday 10 AM until service.

The family request no food be brought to the funeral home.
